Just a question for the event. Do we have to fish a certain time or can I fish aftert work for a couple of hours and still be okay? I get out of work at 3-330 on Saturdays.

Its is open from 6am till Noon but I am ok with you fishing in the evening. I thought we should have it open all day. You can only turn in 5 fish so I say yes you are good. Lets see what others say on this first.

I'm fine with it being all day, as my son (Derrick New) is in it as well. He has yards to mow until around 11.

Ya i really think this should fishing all day post your catches by midnight that day. This is our first event like this so there will be cha ges that happen. The more that fish the better right.

If it was a 6 until noon, then you have time zones etc to deal with

I wanted to just put this back out there so we understand the basics of the event.

Black Jack / 21 (ON THE WATER)
Simple Idea - $5 buy-in, money used for sending out prizes.

Anyone can fish in any water as long as you are in a tube.
Points are like this.
any fish under 1 lb is worth 1 point
fish 1 lb to 2 lbs is worth 5 points
fish 2 lbs to 3lbs is worth 10 points
fish 3 lbs to 4 lbs is worth 15 points
Any fish over 5 lbs will be its points (what does that mean) a 7 lb fish will be worth 7 points a 12 lb fish will be worth 12 points.

To make it easy all catches will be rounded down. so if you catch an 8 lb 7once fish it will be 8 lbs and 8 points.

You will be able to submit 5 fish total and the closest to 21 lbs without going over wins. In the event of a tie it will go to biggest overall catch first or who posted first if the later does not work. There would be 2nd and 3rd place as well just like saltwater poker.

Kicker:
If anyone catches a 21 lb fish NOT 21.3 lbs NOT 20.95 but a 21 lb fish its BlackJack they win it all meaning 1st and 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

No, this event is by weight this time around so closest to 21 lbs wins. Here are the weights to points list.

any fish under 1 lb is worth 1 point
