FTFF POKER Blackjack on the water

I need to pick up a scale for this event. Should I pick up a digital scale or is a spring scale okay?

Digital is best easiest to ready.

They have some good ones on Amazon. I seen some for a reasonable price with good reviews. Plan on picking one up soon.

Which one did you go with?

Dan, nice weather meter. I use to carry one of those back in the long-range days. How do you like the Berkley scale? I have a small quarrow scale I use now but it doesnt display in lbs/oz only lbs with a decimal point (causes me to do math). For a $15 scale it's accurate and very handy but I'm thinking of getting something different.

I went with a 20 dollar digital scale that had good reviews and comes with lip grippers.

Simple Idea - $5 buy-in, money used for sending out prizes.

Anyone can fish in any water as long as you are in a tube.
Points are like this.
any fish under 1 lb is worth 1 point
fish 1 lb to 2 lbs is worth 5 points
fish 2 lbs to 3lbs are worth 10 points
fish 3 lbs to 4 lbs are worth 15 points
Any fish over 5 lbs will be its points (what does that mean) a 7 lb fish will be worth 7 points a 12 lb fish will be worth 12 points.

To make it easy all catches will be rounded down. so if you catch an 8 lb 7once fish it will be 8 lbs and 8 points.

You will be able to submit 5 fish total and the closest to 21 lbs without going over wins. In the event of a tie it will go to biggest overall catch first or who posted first if the later does not work. There would be 2nd and 3rd place as well just like saltwater poker.

Kicker:
If anyone catches a 21 lb fish NOT 21.3 lbs NOT 20.95 but a 21 lb fish its Blackjack they win it all meaning 1st and 2nd and 3rd place prizes.

This is a one-day event and we could do several over the year. Hopefully, there would be groups of guys fishing together in their areas for this event.

Ready to get out on the water for this event. Got my digital scale from amazon. Hopefully the fish will cooperate

Can I ask which scale from Amazon did you get just wondering I need a new one?

Just picked up one off amazon kastking or something like that. Bright orange with built in tape measure. Water resistant and uses two aaa batteries. The batteries is what sold me, as they are easier to find than the watch style
