My first session of 2020 was a ninja session in LAB. Met up with Kevin and Dave aka Floatingbassturd. Got on the water with Dave around 815. Kevin was already on the water and had 4 fish.
Started out on 69th street and fished the yacht club. Got a bite but no fish to show for it. Then we kicked across the channel and started to fish the docks and rocks. I finally get a fish to stick and it was a nice sized jacksmetl. It went around 12 inches. Second fish was my first sandbass of 2020 that went 12 1/2 inches.
Caught two more jack smelt On my was in to the beach. Was off the water about 1030-1045. Had four fish, three jacksmetl and one sand bass. A nice quick session to start off the year. All the fish were caught on a zman micro finesse jig with a gulp trailer. Thank for reading and tight lines.
