Hello everyone...im known as dodo and been called dodoman.lol
i mostly stick to fishing fresh water for them stripers and bass here at dvl or skinner.
Every know and again i do venture out deep in da woods in search of them d.d.
Right now...i have some big events coming threw in 2012 that may intrest all you float tubers and yakers.
Im working with jeffcpr about this event...so stay tuned for the announcement.

By the way...do anyone know where i can get my hands on this bait?

I think its by a guy in Japan who makes custom swimbaits for monster largemouth. I think its the one and only tho. His Website: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I looked at and thought it probably was hand made. Since it's only a big piece of wood you could probably have someone make the wood mode and have a taxidermist paint it for you. Looks like the painting is the key.

Yeah they got some nice lures.... Its jus they cost so much I thought my $50 lures was spendy. That bass lure might cost around 6-8 hundred there mother lures cost a lil over 400 n the detail is not even close to that bass.

That is crazy I would be affraid to cast that lure in the water. I could not even imagine getting hung up after a bad cast. That would ruin a good day on the water for sure. I think I will stick to my cheap plastics just my thoughts.

Owning a large majority if swimbaits has maintence including its loses.
Ive had my fair share of loses.
One of my best bait was 200.00
dvl is surrounded with buried treasures...i mean swimbaits.lol
i remember loosing about 500.00 worth in one summer.

Ill be to scared to cast those spendy lures! I would probably hang them on the wall, like trophys...

Lol its the price u pay to catch a fish of a life time Ive watched one of my 50 dollar lures sink to the bottom an its a horrible feelin.... But if you catch a monster its well worth it. N its true dvl has tons of lures bedded in the shore lines its fun findin em.

oh yeh!!! When the water level was dropping i would hike the hills and found 2 bbz and a hand full of other goodys such as hudds.
The bbz were still in great condition...just change out the hooks.
The hudds well...could only save a few out of many.
When the hudds sits in water for a long periods...they seem to fall apart out in sunlight.
My best find were a few t.t.
Send those to a friend for repaint and bammm good as new with new hard ware.

Good to see Dodo but I refuse to read any of his posts till we start seeing him in a float tube!!!
