Kayak Poll

Alright guys here's the poll regarding kayaks. It closes in 14 days.

hmm I don't know how to vote on this but I'm gonna have to go with no. Here's why....it's a float tube forum but if there are guys here that kayak more than they tube but still post reports and share their adventures and tips and stuff, well that's cool. Tubes and yaks are two different things, but many times people will use yaks or tubes do the same type of fishing in the the same general area.

If we kept it primarily a float tube forum, people who yak should still be members here as long as they tube as well...nothing wrong with that.

But if we made this a yak and tube forum I bet you the yakkers would out number us (unless we didn't allow it. Tubers are an "elite" group and I'm proud to be on this forum because of that. Not many people have the guts to sit on a tube in the middle of this night in freezing cold weather in search of spotties or whatever not knowing what's lurking below.


So my vote is no....but if a guy yak's 95% of the time and tubes 5% of the time, thats cool as long as he's contributing to the float tube sections.


But, if everyone agreed on it and wanted to make this a tube/yak forum id be down with that....we just need to figure out what is best for us. Hope this makes sense...i cant concentrate right now...still bummed after the outcome of the game.

yup...after reading it that didn't really answer the question but just gave arguments for both sides....to pissed to type right now......

My vote is for NO.

Keep things the way they are. There guys here that fish from shore, yaks, tubes and boats. Fish reports are just that, fish reports. There are enough forum for kayakers. So I guess my vote is no
