It just looks so user friendly. LOL!
This is the one I saw, Pretty sure it was Cabelas.

Ya, that is the one from Outcast. The guy at Bob Marriott's called Outcast while I was there and they told him that rod holder will not be in stores until late April. Go figure. LOL.

I got the idea obviously from Outcast rack. My only concerns were the lack of flotation (its a metal frame or looks like one) and the inability to expand. PVC is tinker toys and the possibilities are endless. Oh and it's $69.99 which for me right now is a lot of dough. I am going to make a rig that attaches to the bed of my truck so the whole unit will ride stable in the bed of the truck...disconnect and attach to tube...hopefully without having to load/unload rods. Multi task is the name of the game. But we'll see about that one.

See rack man!!! Wanna borrow the spandex for that baby? green happy I had that tube, I took a blow up stadium seat (5 bucks at sports authority) and attached it to the fabric seat. Brings you up about 3-4 inches in the water, keeps you way drier and is ultra comfortable. You have to attach the back end of it where the U in the tube is so it will not slide out when you kick.
My thought exactly. I also will install a float cushion to the backrest because I recline too much. I like to sit up more. If you can come up with a spandex mod for my tube or rack brother I will make it and install it just in your honor!

Thanks for the tip Dano!

"you can come up with a spandex mod for my tube or rack" -- WTH!! lol!

I've also seen guys put an inter-tube for a wheel barrel on the seat to prop them up a bit. Works pretty good from what i hear.

Is there any big hair, eyeliner and long guitar solos to go with that Spandex? With a side of heavy metal ballads?

Im on a hunt for Pink Spandex. Wax, Jeff or Mad, Do any of you have any left in the closet? So on a different note, I have been inspired by my fellow trash talkers to build a rod rack. Here are the beginning pictures of the creation. Found some sweet rod holders during my BPS shopping excursion. This is the frame in Galvanized[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]jpg[/img][/url] [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It is the frame for a rod holder that sits on the side of your tube. Still need to mount the to panel and the rod holders. The part that goes down in a loop is for stability so it doesnt bounce- I hope Embarassed
