I took my lunch break to see if I could find anything new to show and talk about in the world of float tube fishing. I could not find anything other than the new colors for the FishCat from Outcast. Have you guys seen them I like the Orange color it is very clean looking.

Anyone know of anything new that we should know about. I am going to keep looking.

Nice tube, but I wouldnt buy it. It only has one bladder. Screw that. Evil or Very Mad

wiseguy is dead on. The newer design has logic flaws. (1) Summit 2 value to control dual sided bladder. The old design allows emergency floatation if one goes, great for preventing loss of tube and gears. Even the U-boat back support bladders are designed for such backup. The company is trying to save money, and attempt to add a bit of colors to attract the buyers, attempting to create a failed logic-design to be ignored. I'll stick with my old dual-valves design thank you.

I am right with you guys the single bladder is a true flaw, I did not notice it this when I first saw it. So I guess they did a good job with the colors, as it caught my eye and I failed o see the rest.

All outcast did was change the color.
There are pros and cons to every tube out there and I'll stay with my surper fat cat. One bladder or 2 it doesn't matter IMO.
I got leak one late night in my tube and the way the bladder is made it actually closes up and slows the leak down. My tube held air for about another 2-3 days before I fixed it.

Why has nobody thought about a Float Tube Canopy?

I am a fly fisher so canopy won't work. Plus we get a lot of wind, that is when the fishing is the best.
There has been some made though

As for new stuff, a flat tube that weighs 15 lbs and has oars;)

I also agree, one bladder is a little scary.
