SABRE rods

Hey Waxon,
I met a guy at the show last year who buys and sells, old gear and sold him about a dozen or so reels when i did my purge. Real nice guy who actually came to my house and paid cash! I believe he lives in the San Diego area. Tried like hell the last few hours to find his info but apparently lost it. Anyways,.. next year it might be worth taking it to the show and have it appraised. ( shades of Antiques Road Show!)

I would have no idea bro. You can come see it or I can show it to you next time we fish. I really like the rod though so that obviously weighs in with the value.

in what condition are the guides and handle? Would you mind snapping a couple more pics? Maybe it could use a facelift and make it look new again! Such a cool little old skool rod!
