I learned a really cool way to remove line twist on a spinning rod and reel...while fishing and from your tube.
There are lot's of other methods but this one worked for me well when I tried it last night.
Take your bait off your hook and weight, jig whatever. Just have a baitless rig of some kind. Yes you do need some weight on the line to do this properly so fly lining a hook won't work.
Cast out your baitless rig as far as possible but don't hurt yourself.
Grip the line in front of the reel and if possible weave the line in and out of your first three fingers.
Tighten your drag.
Now rapidly reel in your line and place enough pressure on the line so it is tough to reel in.
Keep rod tip close or in water to keep line very wet so not to burn you fingers.
Reel all the way up.
Your line twist will be removed.
This works and is easy to do from the tube or anywhere.
Enjoy.
