Patterns for the Salt!!

I went to a Fly Tying/Fly Fishing Seminar on salt water fishing and have been busy tying bait fish patterns all day:) I need to go fish the harbor as soon as possible otherwise I will go nuts . One of the presenters I was talking to said that he used basically 3 patterns for all of his salt fishing. Figured I would start there in a couple different colors until I figure out what works.I will post some pictures as soon as I get them tied up. If anyone has some fly patterns or bait patterns they know work, post them up. The patterns he used were:

1. Clouser Minnows in Olive over White
2. Sculpins in a Brown over Orange
3. Clouser Minnows in Brown over Orange.

That would be cool have you ever heard of a fly exchange I think that is what it is called. You set up a theem and every one ties say 5 flies and send them all to one person, then that person send five differnt flies back to each person that sent in the flies. Something like that I did it a few times I will look into the details some more and let you know how it works.

Called a fly swap and the person running it is called a swap master. Very familiar with them. Ran them in Washington on the WFF site. Would love to do one if we had some people to swap with.
