Been spending the afternoons getting my stuff ready fo the toy drive at Perris this Saturday. Was hoping some of you more experienced anglers would share your techniques so that I can beat my lifetime skunk there. Taking into consideration the time of year, water temp, and other factors I am asking for help with all or any of the following questions:

1. Go to bait
2. Rigging style
3. Technique

Thanks and the more specific the better so that I will know what I'm looking for if I need to make a trip to tackle store.

Couple things are workin that I know of... Jigs, texas riged craw baits, Carolina riged robos n drop shot robos. As far as color for the jigs n craw trailers watermelon blk flake works really well. Shad pattern, purple or pink robos. Senkos always work n the trees natural colors works best riged weightless wacky. And then theres allways swimbaits! Haha

Jigs: 1/4-3/4 oz
Texas riged: 3 ot wide gap worm hook 1/4 oz brass n glass set up
Craw trailers: 4” crazy leg chigger craw, baby brush hogs, havoc
Carolina: 1/4 oz bullet weight 3 ot wide gap worm hook
Drop shot: size 4 mosquito hook 1/8 oz tear drop weight
Robos: 4” hologram shad, 6” fx mutalator, 6” morning dawn
Senkos: 5” thin natural colors size 4 or 1 mosquito hook
