Diamond Valley Lake Hemet Ca

Does anyone know if Diamond Valley Lake let you use a float tube? What is the best time of year to hit this lake for bass and what bait should you use? New at this and need to learn more. Thanks everyone!

i wish dvl would let you tube there i would be there everyday its a no contact lake but u can have a yak in there i think it has to be longer then 10ft n bass fishin is hard there gotta use light line alot of times dropshot works good out there when u plan on goin

There are some DVL guys here they will dial you in, as for Float Tubes, I could be wrong but I don't think they are aloud.

So you work the dropshot along the shore ?, kinda like Quil lake out in gormen.

No contact lake but the fishin can be really awesome! Like fisher said its a hard lake. Water vis is bout 30' deep so fish have the advantage. Drop shot, texas, n carolina work really good on 6-8# line. Or if ypur really wantin to have fun throw the swimbaits!

Riverside county is ridiculous with their lake regs. San Diego lakes are "non-contact" as well but they allow tubing with waders and some allow skiing and wakeboardng!

Hey Oldtimer, I am holding off going until I find out the best time of year to hit the lake. I have never been there to fish however I hear its a great place for the bass. Boat rentals are half price on Wednesdays so that is for me.
I see that you live in Hemet and do work up there. I got about 7 rentals up there, from time to time I need some on to work on them. Shoot me your e mail and phone if you dont mind and thanks for the advice on the lake.

Poway and Dixon are great lakes to tube, too bad they dont let cha.
