I BROKE THE CURSE! I'M NO LONGER A SPOTTED BAY BASS VIRGIN! I decided to wake up early this morning and head down to the LAB to see if I can catch my first spotted bay bass. I lost a few plastics in the rocks and so I threw a cheap lead head on a AA's plastic and this momma inhaled it. I took a picture and was about to throw her back and I remembered that I had a tape measure in my car so I walked over to the car and measured her and back in the water she went. The fish was approx 14" which is pretty good for my first bay bass. I'm so stoked and I can't wait to get my tube in the water for the first time. I will go back to that spot with the tube for some more action in the near future.
I only had 30 minutes to fish, then had to go to work.
