its actuaally the latest rod rack that you did with the 4 vertical rod holders. i got it probally as good as i can i took 2 bungee cords then crossed them over that seemed to help then i took a very small bungee strap and wrapped it around each individual rod holder then secured it to the d-rings.

I just want to see how you tie it down because I've never had that problem. Did I build it or did you?

Are you using top AND bottom fasteners?

For mine, I have the carabiners holding the racks to the side D-rings, and bungees going from the bottom of the racks, to the D-rings on the bottom of my tube, but then again, I have an ODC420, I don't know if the FC4s have those same bottom ones.

I secure my rod rack with two 40" Bungee cords, from the bottom of the rod rack, to the "D" rings on the opposite side.

To post pictures, open a dialogue box and then click on the "Host Image" icon from the toolbar above. 15th icon from left.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (Host it Icon)

This opens a dialogue box "Upload your image". Click the "File" button, then click "Chose File". Find the picture you want in your computer and then click "Open", this takes you back to the "Upload your image" box. Click "Host It" on the bottom.
A new box will open giving you three choices. Choose the middle option "Image" and left click on the text in the image box and hit copy.

Go to the message box that you are working on, and left click your mouse where you want the picture, and hit "Paste". This will give you a bunch of code, which should be your picture. I always click on the "Preview" Button to make sure it uploaded correctly.

Very interesting approach. Have you had any issue with weeds snagging onto those two bungee cords?

I hug the weed lines, and during hot days, float weeds can be a nightmare. Any thing sticking below the bladders in a horizontal fashion create a snag to these infamous weeds. All my designs are now above water, beside the fishfinder transducer.

Up to this point I have only fished fresh water and have had no issues. Twin Lakes is full of weeds, and I haven't snagged any yet.

This is .:Lolly's design, and it has worked very well for me. You might check with him.

I also have not snagged anything while tubing although 99% of my tubing is in the salt. I have gone into some thick kelp with no issue aside from the kelp trying to take my fins LOL
