Perris Memorial Weekend

After tubing the east end for the last 2 months hitting the shallow water bite, Shorebucket and I decided to go back to Bernasconi to see the bass were in some deeper water now that the spawn is over. Morning temp was 50 degrees water was 70 degrees with overcast. Grass has really grown and was as tall as 10 ft in areas but there is an easily discernible weedline. Shorebucket caught 5 and I got 6 including my new personal best largemouth weighing in at 4.25 pounds! Slowly moving up in weight! Lots of recreational boaters and jetskiers out there today since it's memorial day weekend which made the water pretty choppy but nothing too bad still had a good time as always. Tight lines!

AsianGuy just read your report sounds like a good day out there I've never fished the sea before, but always hearing of a ridiculous tilapia bite good job!
