One of the members over at BBG suggested I get involved here.
Im going to sell off the Hobie Mirage I've been messing around with the last two seaons and try a tube. The Hobie is too small at 10' and I just don't care to wrestle the beast in and out of the truck. I like to toss and go. I live 8 miles from one of the largest lakes in the SE, so this works out fine.

Im big at 6'1" and 230 lbs, so the Hobie is a cramped little tub. I love the Mirage Drive, but, well... I am willing to try something else, now.

Im thinking an ODC for my first tube. Plenty of options, decent quality and warranty, with a price that leaves room for waders, fins and a few extras. Any other ideas are welcome, of course.

But whatever happens, I appreciate this forum and the chance to get in.
Thanks to Jeff Soto for the invite!

Welcome to the addiction!  Tons of info on here I ride a Fish Cat 4 and it's an awesome tube as well as the ODC and Cumberland.

My one concern with the Cumberland (albeit minor) is the warranty. I love the capacity (Im 6'1", 230#) and the fact that everyone here loves it, too. The price is also an incentive.
But it has 1 year, vs. 5 on the Fish Cat and Lifetime on the ODC.

I really like that the forum helps support the folks at Cover Bonanza, and vice versa. I would like to be a part of that. But the disparity between the warranties does raise an eyebrow. Care to elaborate?
Nothing to worry about? ( I hope....)

Creek Company is a forum supporter also they just dont offer a discount.  warrenty is a big deal go with your gut, i have a really like ODC but the Cumberland is a better all around tube in my opinion.  You cannot go wrong with either of them.

Thanks, Jeff. I like this: the Cumberland is a better all around tube in my opinion.  You cannot go wrong with either of them."
