well im looking for something like the cumberland or Odc voyager. i need something with a 350 or 400 weight limit. i want to make sure my ass aint going to sink one of these. this will be my first tube ever so dont want to blow a lot of cash so if any has a good deal lmk plz

Cumberland is a great tube also the ponderey is on sale as well both 350lbs but more stable and room on the ponderey plus oars

im just at 345 plus gear do you guys think i will have any problems ?

You always want a 20lbs limit below threshold. 350lbs considered recommended as the "50 lbs below threshold" limit. However, you don't really know how much additional gears you're hauling. So, you're putting yourself in a critical situation. You, 2 rods, and light tackles, no problem. You + rods + frames + cooler + fancy stereo system + half naked chick + .. = disaster.

thanx for the info. i wont be carrying that much gear but im not a great swimmer so kinda nervous. might have to get something with a 400lb weight limit just to be sure, maybe i can still have the half naked chick lol

With that being said I would highly recommend a life jacket at all times, just in case. Good luck with finding a tube that suits you

oh yes its always on even on rental boats. lol i prefer to look a lil funny but feel safe. thanx
