High light and Low Lights of 2013

Well we are almost there the end of 2013, just wondering what you guys would say were your high lights and low lights of the 2013 fishing season. I would have to say my high light was in the year 2013 we as a group reached 1000 members and great mild stone. By far my low light was fishing this year, it was no existent for me I was able to squeeze out at least 6 tube trips this whole year and I think I landed that many fish (if I was lucky). Of course with so many members on the board I was able to survive because of all the fish Porn.
Thanks guys for a great 2013 now I am looking forward to 2014 I will try to make it out at least 7 times LOL.

Just real quick, thanks to all the FTFF tubers, specially to those who have lended a hand....much appreciated!!!!!   

My highlight this year was getting my OUTCAST FISHCAT DELUXE tube and being out there with good peeps, thanks again!

as for a low.....man i wish i had a low....family is doing great, great friends, FTFF, cant ask for more....well maybe another tube LOL LOL

  By far the best year ever in the Eastern Sierras! Broke three Personal Bests,
    Biggest fish I have ever seen at Crowley (estimated 25"+ Brown!)
    Longest fight ever on a trout, (estimated 40 minutes, on a 5lb tippet!)
    Most 20"+ fish in one session, 5!
Also...
    Second Ice Out on the same lake! (Lake Mary!) and 4, 20" fish
    Fished an entire season (opener to close, 6 trips) Barbless! (I am now a died in the wool Barbless fisherman and I am going to fish nothing else!)
    Caught everything this year on BIG STREAMERS!!

    Had a better than average work year…
    My kids are still great!
    My wife still loves me!
   

Lows,…

    just sold all my tooning gear, I am presently boatless….

New Years prediction? ( I am adding this part…)

    I am going to build the best toon ever!

Cool thread, here is a little wrap up of my year...

highs:

-got to fish every other friday this past year
-met some cool fishing buddies (more   )
-was in my buddy's wedding
-my side gig has grown (rod building)
-my kids are healthy and doing great in school
-my wife still thinks I'm a sexy beast!  

lows:...I'm thankful to say, I did'nt really have any lows this year, I've been blessed with good health, friends and family and hope the new year continues the same way!

Well gentlemen. I have always had a passion for fishing. Just never really had anyone to go with and show me the tricks of the trade. Purchased myself my very first float tube this year and found the forums. I have been fortunate enough to float tube fish at least twice a week. Since the beginning of the year I have caught so many fish this year is ridiculous. I'm still riding on highlights. Gotta a few more outings left in the year. I don't wanna sound all mushy but I'm glad I found this forum. Have made many new friends. Who share the same passion as I do. Glad to have met most of you.

As for my lows... Not really to hurt about it, but have had many opportunities to land a beast. My rookie mistakes have gotten the best of me. It's all a learning process. I'm not gonna let it keep me

Thanks guys kind words this has been a great year for the FTFF. I am glad you guys found the board as well memories and friendship have been built. And in time more will come our way tight lines guys.
