My fish finder and rod rack is about 95% complete. Only thing left is to cut the rod holders at 45° and I'm set to go. Big shout out to Lolly for all his help in designing my setup.

What do you guys think?

Nice job bro.  Thumbs Up  It's coming along nicely. Have you glued it all up yet? It's going to be kind of difficult to cut the 45's if it's all glued up.

Thanks Lolly. I haven't glued down the rod holders. I think we have a miter saw at work that I can use to cut the 45°s. Can't wait to finish it and get it in the water.

looking good bro,...just a suggestion, that FF mount looks a bit low to me in my opinion, mount the rod rack and check it for clearance of your tube.

Looks good! What kind of tube are you putting it on? If you tend to "side sweep" your rod when you cast, you'll have to tune that motion to a more overhand cast (because your rods are going to be in the way with the 45° tubes) I would also do something with the exposed end of the eye bolts. It looks like you have designed it to sit high out of the water so the FF might actually work the way it is IMO.

Thanks guys. I finally got around to finishing my rack. I think it came out good.

Looks like a hot rod ready to get some fishes.

Looks SHARP - the only thing I would add would be groves in your rod holders so that the rods can can't slip out...just makes it a little more secure!

Got a question About your fish finder mount.

It looks like you have it open at the bottom to be able to put a hummingbird fishin buddy pole through it. if that's the case water would get into the rest of the rod holder unit. Is that going to be a problem?

It shouldn't be a problem but if you really wanted to you could cap the horizontal piece from the inside.

Love this site!

I found and am using a floattubefanatics.com fish finder mount. I am running a Lowrance Elite-7 HDI finder and so far it is an awesome setup!!

I am not sure how to show the images just yet, but figured out how to host them.

I just wanted to give a shout out to wiseguy! You make bad ass rod racks for Float Tubes, thanks for hooking me up bro. I'm New to the community and I'm glad I joined. People are friendly and they really help you out with the questions you have. I will recommend all my friends to you for the custom rod racks you build, & for only $75 you are the professional Man and I would rather have you take care of it for me!!
Thanks Again,
FishTales
