02/06/2014 LP Report

Solo Mission today to Lake Perris.
water time 7am-1:30pm
water temp 55-56
lite wind in am to blowing by noon
no to very lite sprinklers

Wish I could report that it was red hot like couple of days ago but I was only able to connect with one today. Would have stayed longer but starting to have issues with my rod rack and got tried of messing with it so I called it aday

It felt good to be back in the tube after being off for the last 4-5 months

The weather was good into about noon when the wind picked up. It wasn't bad but with the issues I was having with my rack made it a pain in the ass.

Nice Work Miller , If I would have known you where going up I would have thrown my gear in the vehicle and joined you . The weather was not bad at all till like you said around noon and the wind was blowing off the mountains

That's why it's important to get in some practice runs. To be dialed in!!! Lake perris winds always kick up at bout noon over there. The water would get super choppy on the southwest side in the hours. We should get back out there SOON!!!

Lets get out there then ..  I have Tuesday and Thursday free next week  ... I will be going for sure as the weather looks to be mid 70's , cloudy AM then blue Bird afternoon

So Miller : you went out to the Island how did it look out there ? Saw a Swimbait fish caught that way last week . lots of people just trolling them

Miller- Nice fish man. Where did you put in at, and how deep was your fish taken from?

yeah it always does but it was a little worse this time. Let me know when you wanna go.

I didnt meter any fish but again I'm still getting used to my new FF. Having a hard time reading it. For the most part it seem pretty flat and with a few drop offs. I was drop shoting and throwing swimbaits all day beside for the few mins throwing reactions baits here and there

my design is not like Lolly's where there is a strap at the bottom of it and my problem was it kept rotating. my rods are to be at 90 degrees and it kept falling down to like 45 degrees. Alittle bit of glue will fix the problem.
