Noob from OC

Sup guys.  Newb from the OC, Socal area here.  
 
I'm pretty new to fishing (less than a year) but the addiction hit strong once I got my rod bent(since childhood).
 
Was an avid downhill mountain biker for 10+ years but this sport converted me almost instantly.  Since then, I've been eating, sleeping and dreaming fish, which is pretty f'n rad.
 
Like many others, I can't afford a boat as my wife would divorce me but found that I loved being out on the waters, so tubing seemed like the obvious thing to do.
 
Hoping to learn all i need to know these boards as well as contribute as I learn a few things myself.  Looking forward to meeting up with you guys for some epic tube fishing.

What up!!! Welcome to the boards. I too was also an acid cyclist mtb and road. But, just like I found this sport and boy I'm HOOKED!!! It's definetly cheaper than a boat!!! Well my friend you came to the right place. Everyone here has some sort of knowledge to share. Welcome aboard.

Welcome bro glad you found us, we will help how ever we can, just ask away. I road mountain bikes for close to 10 years as well. love the fullerton loop helped to beat it down, Carbon Canyon, but summers were reserved for Snow Summit. Oh the memories, but hay this is float tubing welcome, also fatboy if you need some help with the acid issue we will support your recovery.

Jeffcpr, Snow Summit is legit now. Gravity Logic from Whistler was hired for 10 years to re-design the bike park....but this is float tubing.....
