Hit up Laguna Niguel Lake from 6 am to about 11:30. Not exactly sure about wind and temp, but it was overcast the whole time and very little breeze. Caught 3 small bass, all off a Culprit Worm (tequila Shad). None worth risking dropping my phone in the water for a pic. I have a floating dry case, but I put my phone wallet and keys in it, so kinda akward trying to use the phone. I'll have to look into some other options discussed on this forum.

Anyways, it was a blast. There goes my shore fishing career. Sorry Wholford. Wish I could tube Wholford. Damn it. Oh well, next stop... Sutherland?

Right on Chron. I cant wait till they lower the price after trout season. Maybe I will see you out there one of these weekends. FYI, if you launch off the small cement ramp towards the far end of the lake, be prepared to get goose crap all over the bottom of your tube when you come back in. Haha. Next time I think I'll cruise in back to the shore.

thanks for the report  , its just good sometimes to get out and cast a line and also Good job on the 3 fish  Thumbs Up The bite seemed to be slower a lot of places this weekend  I managed to catch fish on Sunday and the ones I did get where larger models .

Remember Key Factors : weather (wind , current temps. , conditions bluebird , cloudy , etc ) , Next Time of Year , how are we positioning our selves on the water and presenting the baits? what kind of baits?

lets take Sunday for example @ Perris , we had cloud cover , a light cool breeze blowing across the water and chilly AM temps . Now yes we have seen bass already moving shallow but that has been common on most waters . most fish are in Pre-Spawn still , remember that ! so with the conditions like I posted this tends to push Bass off the banks and into about 15-20' of water . Where I fished about 22-25' on Perris and the bass where there  Thumbs Up
