Best FW Bass spinning reel

OK it's cyber Monday and I need some info on spinning reels for freshwater bass fishing for light top water and worms. I've always used conventional for bass, but some setups are just to light for me to cast with conventional reel. So I need some advise as to which reel works for you all. I'm looking at 8# to 12# line capacity. Much thanks.........GT

How much are you willing to spend? I think a basic sedona 2500 is always a suitable workhouse, the sahara is also another good one (both sub $100 range). If you're looking for something with a little more bearing count and "ooo shiny" factor, I suggest taking a look at the Abu Garcia Revo spinners, Daiwa Lexa and Okumas.

OK so much for cyber Monday.........Sports Chalet is having a meltdown. The reel Wes mentioned in the last thread was taken off as I was ordering. Called them, the girl was not sure as to what was happening so she put me on hold. She finally said that the item must be out of, no moss, nada, nothing. So I go to order the Saros FA model and they won't give me the cyber20 discount, sale items only. I made my speech but it didn't happen, she said enter the code and we'll see if I can get it for you. Didn't happen and the order went through. So I said I'd like to cancel order, put me on hold, then said MAYBE the order will be canceled, but couldn't say for sure. I called MasterCard and asked for dispute forms. Worst day to order online..........Old and Cranky, GT

I bought a Abu Garcia from theses guys last summer. I use 6 pound flouro for weightless wackey and split shot. I had no problems and am happy with the reel.
FYI these are refurbished, but in factory packaging.

GT, most of mine are spinning...Id recommend a 2500 model, Shimano, i have, sienna, sonora, sahara, SONORA is perfect and its Orange , cant go wrong hahahah... but kidding aside I have it on 10lbs...works perfect, ive thrown lucky craft top waters on it and works good...my 2 cents

Again I want to thank everyone for their input. I researched them all.

So I was going to go with Shimano 4000, Big 5 had 10% coupon, so I stopped by. Sold out. But they had a Daiwa 2500HA reduced to $59,( was $79), same as the 4000. They took off 10%, 54 and change. Such a deal, I bought a Shimano 7' rod too.

I myself think the Shimano ci4 is the best spinning reel hands down. There light and have great drags. You can find them used online for $130.
