I came across a Caddis float tube (P.T.) boat. I cannot find any information online regarding this item. They appear to not be in production.
Can someone enlighten me about the Caddis float tube?
What you did and did not like about it. What years was it produced?
Since I can find nothing online about the float tube, I don't know if replacement bladders are available. No idea of weight limit, length of the boat, water river rating.........ect!
What I do know of the pontoon boat, is from two pictures found online. Both were for sale, one in 2003, the other in 2009. It appears to be a mini pontoon boat, with no oars for propulsion, only kick fins. The frame is made of a one piece, rigid, high density plastic, and does not dismantle. There are 5 seat height adjustments. No extension racks on the frame for storage, electric motor mounting or anchor system attachment.
At the moment I have a fish cat float tube (250lb capacity. I am 235). The Caddis seams like it would be a more stable platform to fish from (wider and longer), with seat height adjustability. When comparing the two boats, the Caddis appears to be a larger platform, having a seat that will not "taco" and having height adjustability. But the Caddis should have a oar option but does not, and the one piece frame would be a down fall, when considering the space needed for storage.
