Since my issues with my tube, which I hope I have repaired been thinking about pontoons. Any body use them in the bays? Been checking them out on line and kinda diging them. Just looking for some i put pros/ cons. Thanks in advance.

I can't speak from a salt water perspective, but can tell yeah a few things. It is very easy to use after a few trips. One anchor, a dock rope, and windsock will lock you down. I think it is a boat that is only best, with a good trolling motor; treat like it's a boat and not a hand launch.

They carry an insane amount of gear with ease, I would think having a frame would be great in salt. Some drawbacks with corrosion from what I have heard. You can modify them like crazy. If you don't have enough tackle/box storage, just strap another one on the back.

What I will say is that with a a tube and some Force Fins, you can be the best angler around in regards to stealth. There are some spots I fish, that I wish I had some. I have a huge expensive one, but I would probably be just as happy with a smaller version to be honest.

NEGATIVE: Wind sucks...

They are great the only down fall is the metal frame it get eaten up by the salt water and that's all you need is the game to break. I used my in salt water lot be for it gave way but I can not use it any more unless I by new frame but other than that I use my finds and ores some times no ores just fins but it great
