Still learning to maneuver in the Cumberland in the lake here in central SC. Got skunked first trip. Still have yet to have a single bass bite my lure, but resorted to live bait and caught a nice shellcracker right at dusk. Enjoying my tube, but finding artificial bait tough going! Tips?

I moved the thread for you Thumbs Up

Have you fished for bass before? They like to hang out in and around structure.

Thanks .:Lolly:.! I was fishing some brush with a wacky rigged senko. No bites. Pretty new to bass fishing. Probably will take some time figuring it out!

Congratz on the shellcracker!
If I'm dedicated to finesse fishing when the Wackey Senko don't work I switch to a weightless Texas style and a thin worm with a flat tail of some type. Some people just switch their Senko to a Texas style rig or start changing up colors.
So many things to change up, lots a fun.
