What kind of lures and jigs and bait and ect. Would I need to catch some spotty or halibut? Any help wanna start hitting the habors now any help would work? Thanks guys

Yes I'm planning on it I have new rods comming in that are for spotty and halibut wanna break them in that why I'm asking help thanks jeff

Hey Pedro, Drop shot, fly lined flukes work for me...all colors....10lb test, also all the salt gulp works great...i use 6-6 ---7-0 rods..i used my flukes on 4-0 and 5-0 hooks with split shot....i know this isnt enough but im sure more peeps with chime in, good luck and hit me up, ill try to ge every wednesday...im headed there today but in a buddies dingy....next week back on my tube....

That is great info from Tony G. I will add this swimbaits 3" to 4" are great, Mutant Tackle, Recon Baits, and of course Big Hammer are great. Natural colors maybe some glitter red or silver. I also like greens like Spottie Special from Big Hammer, and Christmas tree also Big Hammer. I will us 1/4 oz. to 3/8 oz. jig heads and I also like to use the Jika Rig, hand made with a worm or creature bait. That is my 2 cents.

Slow and low during the colder months. You might also wane to try creature baits.
