Fun with Float Tubing

This video is more just for fun than a real report. I wasn't expecting much the day after a rain but I wanted to get out and test the new electronics. I'll be doing a "pimp my ride" video next featuring the new gear. Still working on getting the bump board and show card together for the tournament, so a bit of a slow start there, but that one's a long haul, so no worries.

I just wanted to show people how accessible float tubing is for everyone, and that even old, fat guys can get out there and tube it!

Can you tell us a little bit about that fish finder?

That was great Bob nice work sir looks like a great day and i really would like to try that spot.

The fish finder is the Raymarine Wi-Fish that I'm using with my old Generation 2 iPad. Also running the Navionics GPS navigation app which is supposed to integrate with the Wi-fish and draw real time sonar maps, but I haven't been able to get them to play together yet. Working with the tech guys at Navonics to get it sorted out.

I'm planning on doing a video featuring the new electronics this weekend, if everything gets sorted.

i got kicked out one time i went there. some boat owners doesn't like people fishing in that spot smh.

I've been there a couple of times but I've always stayed close to the island. Never had contact with anyone. The best places in my experiences there are the two inlets to the marina and you can easily fish them from the outside.

Fun video and thanks for sharing Bob! I use to tube that area all the time! Be careful of the island shore boats! They come up to dock there FAST! Let me know when you are going to tube there again and I'll join you! Great video!
