Hello All! Another Newbie here. My name is Justin from San Diego. Never tubed before, but plan on getting one for my birthday next month. I have an uncle thats been tubing Upper Otay and Lake Murray and I've seen enough pictures of his bass catch. I want my own! I hope to fish the bays as well as the lakes.

Thanks for the welcome. Could you guys recommend a tube for me. I weight about 260. Was looking at the Fish Cat. Its rated at 250lbs, but with gear and my big butt would it hold up? Or would I need to go with a Fat Cat? Or any other suggestions?

I am 210 and I use a Cumberland float tube is is rated at 350 lbs and I had to recur my son flipped out of this tube and he weights 120 lbs I lend on on side pick him up and put him back into his tube very strong tube I love it but I also seen the super fat cat in action holds my buddy up with know problem he is taller then me and moves real well to the odc420 hold up strong to nice.tube as well to I also own a big horn rated at 350 lbs and it like a recliner it is great to just check out the spec and compare and I am sure you will do just fine

I use an ODC 420 and a Navigator II. The cumberland and Big Horn is a good choice. I don't know the weight on the cat series of tubes.

Good luck!
