I got out with the new camera setup and pretty much messed up the whole deal. No point in details, but lessons learned. Even though the camera was out of position, I did manage to record about an hour and a half of time near the end of the session, so these are the highlights of that 90 minutes of fishing. Naturally, the best fish of the day didn't get recorded!

Incoming tide. Kind of ugly overcast the whole time. Breezy, but not too bad. I clocked about two miles.

Not much open water action. The fish were either in the docks or close to them. I caught 20 fish total for the day. 3 short halibut, 5 barred sand bass and the rest were spotties.

I tried my "Manic Shrimp" and 3D Crab and got no action. The day started out slow, so most of the day I was just trying to get some action and the Hookup Bait was working, so I didn't spend much time with other baits. I'll give them a better test soon.

Not one of my better videos, but it's a learning process!

Nice footage Bob! I always throw different baits and rigs, but almost always go back to the hookup baits when I want numbers. I'm going to try to put more effort on the ned rig and crankbait on my next outting....but the hookup baits will be in my plano for backup Very Happy

thanks for sharing

Thanks, guys!

Today I had time to play with the new camera all day and try different settings and such. I think I have it dialed in, but we shall see. All part of the fun.

I think I've mentioned this before, but as an amateur with limited skills, making the videos often takes me more time than shooting them. But it's fun and I get to relive the experiences and share my stoke, so I'll keep it up as long as it stays fun!

Nice video! What camera are you using?

The underwater camera is a "Lightdow" I got about a year ago and I think it's an amazing camera considering it cost about $40. The control buttons on the underwater case don't work that well, but it's not a problem to simply start it recording and then seal it in the case and let it run.

The new main camera is an SJCam SJ6 Legend Air. It has many more features, touch screen controls, WiFi and an external mic. More features means more complicated but I'm pretty sure I'm understanding now what I have to do. The little things can trip you up.
