It was great to see the large leaf kelp forest flourishing once again!
I'm looking forward to spending many hours of fishing in the newly re-born forest.

Dan's Fish Count: (8 fish) 3-different species on "The SS Stitch FT":
(1) Batray 14.8 lbs w/ a 28" wing span, (Note: a Batray w/ a 55" wing span will weigh 195.50 lbs) it took me 15 minutes to land the beast,
I was sawing off kelp with it! Thank goodness that I had braided line! I had two other super hard strikes where I couldn't control
the fish before they out-muscled me and ran me into either a pylon and or into kelp before breaking me off for their freedom. I had to retie my 12# leader twice.
