My son went body surfing recently, and he not only had swim fins, but he also had "Hand Fins" to give him a little more power to catch the waves.  They look like black webbed gloves (and The Creature From the Black Lagoon!)  I would think that these would be helpful for the float tuber that wants to move to another spot or to get back in when the wind kicks up.  They would probably not work very well for any 'tubes that have you sitting up high, but for a U shaped float tube they might come in handy.  Kick with your legs and scoop water with your arms and hands.  Might look a little weird, but it might get you from place to place a little faster.  I saw several styles at Amazon.com.  Has anyone tried this?

Hey Komori,

I found myself having to do some desperate hand scooping while I was seriously kicking against the HH incoming tide; on Thursday,
while I was kicking my way out against it while heading toward the Los Patos Bridge. I was kicking a lot and hardly getting anywhere.
I could have definitely used a set of those webbed finger gloves on this day indeed!

I felt defiant and determined on this day to get where I wanted to be. lol
