Hand fishing!

So i went to the lake the other day and was walking around sight fishing with my buddy, and i see this GIGANTIC catfish sitting under the bank. So i went over to it, laid down stuck my hand in front of its face and wiggled my fingers, then it just attacked my hand (which hurt pretty bad) then i just grabed on and tried to flip him up on the bank but he was to heavy so my freind had to hug the back of its body and help pull him out. THe catfish was in between 30-40 pounds And then a couplr of bass caught on the drop shot

The biggest bass was caught 2 days before

yeahh like hillbilly handfishing and what Vagabond said those snappers and moccasins are dangerous

ya i know , i don't think ill be doing that ever again cause my hand still hurts from that cat lol

Pssssst............noodling is illegal in cali (fyi) i wanted to do it a couple months ago with somebodys from work so i looked where to and it said no no no

what lake was that at also nice bass pic u have there that spot has been pretty good the past couple days

very nice! i'd be scared, but thats a huge one!

It was probibly sitting on or near some eggs keeping them safe from predation.

That's a nice cat for a city park lake! & nice bass also!

Nice fish, I hate to break it to you but that cat is no where near 30-40lbs.
