Last night's LAB tube sessiion

Went out last night and fished LAB. I found some.baits that I wanted to use. I had some Yamamoto creature baits, grubs and a hula grub I wanted to try out.
Caught fish on all three baits, the creature bait was back with blue flake, the grub was black with purple flake and the hula grub was black with blue flake with blue skirt.
I also caught fish on gulp and HUBs. The largest fish, 13.5 inches was caught on the 1/8 red crab HUB. I was also a sandbass shy of the trifecta. Had 12 fish total 10 spotties and 1 calico also had a octopus (not pictured). It was a good night. We fished the out going tide all night. One thing when the tide is rolling out the fish seem to venture out and feed in open water. When the tide slacks they run back and hide. Thanks for reading and tights lines.

Thanks Dan. They weren't starving that's for sure. That big spottie spit something up. Maybe a clam or muscle. Wasn't a bait fish.

When I was at Mission Bay I had a few bass that I had landed on my tray that were coughing up whole crab arms w/ claws, whole crabs 1 1/2” across their bodies along with whole muscle shells!
These guys will gorge on anything! lol

It makes them fun to catch. They are aggressive, 4in fish will eat 3in baits.
