All great info and I agree with the bags, we have talked about it as it is a big issue. I am sure the new design will be top notch and I am continuing to share my thoughts and those that want to put there 2 cents as well.

So they are discontinuing the Maxxon 240 and are getting out of they small boats like these. They do still have some left over for sale. Plus they still have the 293 as well.

I had my XP240 for almost a year before selling. My complaints, like other members, were the bags breaking before even getting on the water and the lack of immediate accessories.

I ended up selling mine partly because of the enormous size. I have a camper shell, and having the XP sticking out of the back of my truck/shell was really annoying on longer trips. I kept all my regular sized float tubes and sold the XP, the regular sized FishCats and Cumberlands are much easier to deal with in and out of the water.

If Maxxon made something similar to some of the Euro belly boats, I might be into it. The durability and quality of the material was top notch from what I could tell.
