I finished a couple new designs last night. One layout was the standard layout but with all verticals and the other was specifically made to hold the fishing buddy.

That is my customers float tube. He brought it over before I glued up the fishing buddy rack to make sure it got placed exactly where he wanted it. Then I glued it up on the spot and he took it home.

Don't really have the need for a livewell with the type of fishing that I do but I have used them before. I got this design from Lokey. You just clip it where ever you want on your tube or to your buddies tube LOL

Thumbs Up That reminds me so much of my baby's wash basin a few years ago. It's great for docile fish. Bass and trout, they will give you a run for your money after they recover their strength, jumping over the netting. Is there a sun cover to minimize heat exposure to to cap the fish in?

I never really looked to much into it. I only used it a couple of times at Dana to keep the bait fish for Hali's. Then I used it one time at Perris for a tourney but the bass were getting beat up by the sun so I just let them go... I even tried to cover them with an undershirt but the surface temp was still way to hot for them. Something that runs deeper in the water or even under water would be ideal but would also be too much drag to be kicking around with.

Now, when I am going to keep something I use a floating basket like this one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

and for the bigger stuff that don't fit in there, I use a game clip like this one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If you think the float live well is a pain to drag around, wait until you use the wire mesh basket. It's going to be a nightmare. I have three of them. Great for shore, a killer in turbulence water.

I've already used both without any problem. I meant an underwater type enclosure would be a pain.

thanks JsFishSlayer

Add carabiners attached to the d rings & a bungee cord on the bottom to the other side.
