7/11/20 grissom island

started the day at Cabrillo launch ramp, 5:20 am, left with most of the people there at 6:30am gates still not opened. ended up at grissom island and had a blast. 7 beautiful bass 5 sand bass, 2 spotties. all just under legal. water was warm, no wind. lots of fun beautiful morning. lost a big halibut, got him to tube once, then he swam away and after another 10 minutes lost him.

I drove over early this week (back from Catalina) and I saw that the Isle Grissom parking lot was open to public parking now; or at least then.
