8:00 AM until 11:00 AM
As always, I like to take a few minutes before each session ... to calm my thoughts and to remember to give thanks to HIM! .... 🙏 Amen!

8-fish total today.
From 0800 hrs until 0830 hrs was just dead water.

Then at 0830 hrs my first fish was landed ... this is my Skunk Buster ... a short lil" 20" pancake!

0830 hrs until 1000 hrs
I continued to land (4) four more short pancakes in a row ...
a 13", 17 1/2", 18" and a 15 1/4". (All within 60 minutes).
(a short Hali is 21 15/16" or less= pancake).

And from 1000 hrs until 1100 hrs
Followed by a:
(1) YFC 9"

(1) short Spotty 10"

(1) short Sandy 7 3/4"

(5) short Halibut (listed and shown above)

What a nice way to spend some relaxing time ... Cool

Hi Dan,

Seems like it’s been a little slow for the bass fishing over there, but you kept the ball rolling with the Halibuts!

The juveniles bode well for the presence of much larger models that I know you have the finesse to conjure up!

I’ve not been floating much at all as I’m commuting between NorCal and Long Beach. Thus, my lack of posting any float tube adventures of my own...

I’ve been fly fishing up there, just not from my tube.

None the less, I always enjoy reading your posts!
