Enjoyable Morning at a Kansas State Fishing Lake

Today was one of those Goldilocks Mornings. not too hot, not too windy. The fishing hole was a little crowded, but thanks to my float tube that wasn’t any problem at all.  The crappie and bluegill were biting, so well that I was unfazed by the loss of my unsecured net.  Hopefully other forum members were also able to get out on the water this weekend.

Good on you for getting out there. Did the net sink or just float away?

Well it was there and then it wasn’t. I’m sure it sunk. I didn’t have it on a leash or modified with pool noodles like my other one.

Time on the water is great add fish and its time well spent.

Stuff like that just happens!  

The other day I arrived home from fishing, unloaded everything and ... HUH?!?!?!
WHERE ARE MY FOUR FISHING RODS!

I thank God for warp speed and no speeding tickets in the mix and then I arrived! I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES!

To this very day ... I thank the LORD that all of my gear was still there because it was in plain view to easily be seen by lots of people.

Things and objects, we can replace!
But on the other hand .... it's still an acceptable pain in the butt to have to buy another net knowing that you had a perfectly good net on board already! lol
