I was surf fishing with my buddy and we were fishing with grubs and we were getting bites but no fish. So i find a sand crab as big as my thumb and i feel a huge bite and we thought it was a huge corbina but it was a 14 inch perch. Then we threw out some sand worms and we caught 4 other tiny perch but it was a great day with the 14 inch perch

thats a nice Barred surf perch they don't get too much bigger than that. For the corbs gotta use long leaders and light line. I have had more success with the peanut M&M sized crabs, the soft shells are there favorite.
