I need your input ... please!
I have (2) two inflated Cumberland Float Tubes (3rd still NIB) that have been used for about the same amount of time each and yet they are not sewn together in China for their exactness. lol

I am building a final hard lap tray for my Cumberland and I encountered a work stopping dilemma while measuring for my new spreader bar. Both of my current float tubes measure differently, across from pocket to pocket.
My issue is:
I measured one tube from back of pocket to back pocket and it measured 28 1/4” [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I measured one tube from back of pocket to back pocket and it measured 31 inches.

If a few of you out there would please inflate your float tubes; very tight skinned, and then measure them from ......
“the front side of the back of pocket to front-side back of pocket “ ........
and let me know what you get for a measurement please.
The reason that I’m doing this is I’m trying to achieve an average length with other Cumberland float tubes; for my spreader bar, so it will work on any Cumberland float tube.
I would like to make my average from four or more other tubes.
I plan to use a 1” x 28 1/2” piece of white PVC cut at 45° to the long points. That will work as an average.
Thanx in advance!
