Quantum mods

Hi all. Love being a part of this group… I’ve done so many modifications and enjoy everyone of them to make the best experience possible.

On my quantum float tube, the apron is Not like it is on the rest of your tubes. Instead of being locked to the tube horizontally, it is vertically mounted and stupid!!. It’s also super flimsy because of that.

Has anybody got a new modification for that set up to allow me to replace the apron with something more sturdy that will work under the quantum set up Or ideas how to completely re-design it so that I can be more functional out on the water?

Not sure what the Quantum float tube is could you maybe send a picture of it and I am sure we can put our heads together soo to help out.

This isn’t my exact set up… But this will give you an idea how the apron is a fixed. It’s the same concept as mine.

It’s an Outcast.
I luv’d my Outcast but I sold it because of the flimsy plastic skinny little apron legs.
I now ride Cumberlands, which allow me to make some fantastic hard lap-trays.

I hope that somebody will chime-in soon and give you a few ideas.

Has anyone made their own apron without having to use any of the built-in capabilities of the tube? That’s an idea as well

I’m working on a prototype hard lap-tray for my Cumberland right now. Perhaps what I am doing might be something that you could use or use a part of in your build

Hopefully, I will be fishing on mine by next week.

Are you located SoCal?
I’m in San Pedro and I don’t mind brainstorming with you some hands-on mod ideas.

Ha ha ha! So .... the next time you make it down here to San Pedro again, I would like to power storm some ideas! Ha ha Ha!

I’m doing something in the 1/4” plywood direction.
