It is with a heavy heart I bring this to you all we have lost our Float Tube Brother "Ornery Bob"  - Richard Moose.

I had just realized that I had not heard from him in a while on Facebook and with a quick search it looks as though he Passed away on Nov 1st.

For those of you that knew Bob he was Ornery but with a Golden heart and true intentions.  Bob was not shy he jumped in to the sport with both feet and went to town.  I can say he was a big driving force behind most of the member growth over the last few years.  R.I.P Ornery Bob and we will catch one for you before the year is over.

Robert and I have fished together many times (FW & SW) with much success ...
You will be forever thought of and missed my friend.

"Ornery ... will ya please leave me a lil' room; next to ya for me and my old float tube, for when we meet again in that bigger pond in the sky my friend."

Bob has inspired and excited so many followers with his series of "How to" on U-tube video's.
It was amazing to watch as his numbers of followers grew by the hundreds!

Bob and I were FT newbies together and as Bob learned, he would openly share his newly gained knowledge with others or he would attempt to find the answers to questions being asked about tubing and fishing.
I liked that a lot about Bob.

Bob always threw out an "Open Invite"...
I liked that a lot about Bob ... he really enjoyed fishing and sharing his sessions with many others ... what a way to live Bob!

I just want to shout-out ... "just one-last-cast!' ... to our late friend Ornery Bob!

I have been doing some reaching out to see if I could find more info on Bob's Passing. All I know is it was on the 1st of Nov.
If I find anymore info I will be sure to share it with everyone.

Ornery Bob's videos were a great help when I started fishing the bays a couple of years back. A wealth of information on launch points and so forth. He was very forthcoming. Besides, I enjoyed them.

We communicated a few times. I knew he was going through some hard times; and reached out, but he did not take me up. I have had a bad feeling for awhile.

I did find out today that he had passed away in his sleep. We can only hope we was a sleep and felt no pain.

Same story as many of you. Although I never met him, I feel, after watching and re-watching his videos, he was my float tube mentor. Very sad news.
