Lake Perris fishing report 09/03

Hit up lake Perris today at 6 am. Almost got skunked, Lot 12 is tough but the bass were busting shad all day. I even threw shad patterns right through the massive bait balls to no avail. Water is getting a little colder it seems and was still stained. I went all the way down the north eastern end in the trees all day. But at the end i paddled all the way over to the rock on the northwestern end. Rapala shad rap saved the day pulling me in 2 small bass from that area. Way to stay at it and grind a few out.
