Hi everyone!

I finally made the jump and bought a Cumberland. What advice to you have to give to a newbie? I suffer from PTSD and am a bit apprehensive about the experience.

Thanks!

So welcome to the forum let's start here.
First this sport of float tube fishing is generally a very safe sport.
Be sure to start out on a small lake and if you can have some friends join you on the water that would be good. If not ok the water maybe they can hang out on the shore.
Stay close to shore and be sure to ware your PFD always. For 20 years I have been tubing with never one mishap. Just be sure to have fun relax and enjoy your new sport and I am sure in time you will be hooked on float tubes.

Welcome aboard Gator! 👍
I was a bit apprehensive as well but allow yourself a chance to relax and get into it.
Like Jeff mentioned above, just remember to practice your water safety first.

I’ll be looking forward to reading all about your maiden voyage in your not so distant fishing report with pic’s!
