So I got a message today that the new FLTB FI+ fins are ready for sale. They are sending them for tests and reviews.
This will be my first test and review of fins. They look good we will see how they work.

Anything special about them? I have force fins currently and my son uses a more traditional fin.

With force fin, it is very easy to keep a leisurely pace but I feel that I overpower them - meaning after 5 hours of finning, I am still not tired and sometimes I want more power so that I can move faster at a bit more expenditure of energy.

Not that I know of but they look similar to my dive fins. What I like about my fins is the length of the blade, its a medium length so I get a good thrust with minimal kick. These look to be longer then there last pair and they seem to be lighter in weight. Once I get them I will do a quick basic review and they once I get a chance in the water I will do a side by side comparison.
I have never been against force fins but I still believe in muscle memory, which means the more you use one type of fin the more efficient you become with those fins. Just my 2 cents.

So I tried these on with my Seavenger Neoprene boots. These fins are best designed for wading boots but it looks like the Seavengers will work just fine.
I should be out this next Sunday for a full review. Looking forward to try these out. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
