Launched out of Spanish landing this morning at 6:30 a.m. according to fishingreminder.com said bite was going to be good between 6:30 and 8:30 (anyone fish according to the tide charts, I just go when I have a chance but figured I'd make an extra effort today) so I figured I'd give it a shot. Landed 3 spotties and my PB Hali at 12". It's my first so I gotta start somewhere.

I am a little bummed out though that I was broken off by something decent sized. Bit my leader off taking my under spin. All in all it was a good trip

I use Solunar Time Forecast and I am the same I go when I have time but I always check the chart if I can fish either a Saturday or a Sunday. Thanks for your report and congrats on your first Hali.

Thanks for the report and sharing the pics.

I try to use the times and tides and moon phase, but I really think that making the effort to get on the water any time you can is the best recipe for catching.
