Back at the Big B
Overcast cold and windy all day
No shad visible but one of the bass coughed up a pretty large example of what they are feeding on
Another one had multiple senkos down the gullet unable to be digested....why I try not to use senkos if I can.
Extended topwater for most of the morning
Found magic tree at daylight and it was on for the popper, hitting on the pause or after the initial splash as rings were fading away.
When they stopped hitting the popper, threw the fluke for the rebite, lasted about an hour and a half.
Once that died, slim Pickens until I found another magic tree off a windblown point and they were stacked up. They bit for a good 45 min.
Finished off in the back of one of the arms nestled in some trees to hide from the wind where the bass were also hiding. Picked off a handful before heading in at noon.
Never leave fish to find fish.
