Havasu madness!!

Well first thing is sorry guys i gotta get the pictures of the fish they are on another camera.............BUT on the other hand you guys need to get out there and hit there water befor it gets to hot fishing is off the hook only got to fish firday because the winds where crazy on Sat. and we where all well hung over!!!!!!!!! I my self was able to grab 14 fish from the waters 5 Smallmouth Yep thats right i finally got Em!!! smallest was two pounds largest was a little under four I got 7 Largies from 2 lb- 5 lb and i got two dinner plate size bluegill. The go to bait was crappie jigs for some reason i just could not keep it out of there mouth it was a glowin the dark color but used durring the day we where thinking it looks like a shrimp in the watere there or something because of how effective they where. Everyone landed fish even the first time tubers[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] My pops was able to get three but his three almost gave him a bag of 15 lbs all three of his fish where almost 5 lbs!Fishing was great and Well all in all it was a great bachlore party on the other hand but thats classified ha ha ha GET TO THE RIVER AND FISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

No that is the way to thow a kisk A@# Bachlore Party guys. Sounds like everyone was on fish out there. Congrats on your Smallies, I have not caught any of them yet. That looked like a sweety launch location

Yeah the spot was awesome because No power boats where alowed in the coves in the area We did get rousted by the ADFG but it was easy as we all had our river stamps. Gave us a bunch of mumbo jumbo about C/R (as if i already dont practice) we didnt even keep a fish all where release

HEADCASE881-  I know this is an older post you put up, and nice report and photos by the way..  But since you fish Havasu, do you know any places where we can launch our float tubes and fish for those huge, giant Redears that Havasu is fast becoming famous for?  I heard there are certain spots where these big panfish are found..

Good job man. I fished Mesquite back in October and blanked. But did really well there in April.

Komori, I fished there a few times over the past year and a half. My biggest redear was somewhere around 3 lbs and saw another one that was even bigger during the spawn in 2015. Mine came off a hump on the CA side in 30 feet of water on a football jig and had a 2 lb. smallie swimming with it when it surfaced...the other one was in the northwest corner before the river on the CA side. Not sure about launching over that way though.
