What's really amusing about this is; just a couple of days prior I was commiserating with a kayak guy at Murray about how few quality largemouth we had caught this year to date. Both of us had caught good numbers of fish, but neither had logged anything bigger than 4 lbs.
It just goes to show that awesome days can come around anytime. I think the anticipation of what might happen is part of the allure of the sport for me.
My PB for Largemouth is 8.9 lbs. Still after a lifetime of bass fishing I know that elusive 10 pounder that I've been seeking all my life could gobble my lure up at any moment on any trip. In fact I think it's gonna happen on my next outing so I gotta get out there! And soon haha!
